Background:
After selling swimwear and resortwear online for almost 8 years now, we've come to realise a thing or two.
Many of our customers have struggled to find the right swimsuit that fits them well and many have felt forgotten when searching for one; a lack of available options and customer service that doesn't make them feel appreciated. .
We all come in different shapes and sizes and with our own unique stories. Some of us know what we want and dive right in! But many of us don't. For many, that decision to put on a swimsuit is a big deal. For too many it's been far too long, often giving up because they believe that they're not worthy. Confidence is absolutely everything when it comes to donning a cossie. And missing out on making precious memories is what happens when girls don't find a swimsuit they feel good in.
Let's encourage women to make that move and find that swimsuit. To get back onto the beach and live their best summer yet.
And what better way to do that, than have other women out there showing the way. Women they can relate to. Women who look like them. Women of a similar shape and size.
So, the idea of running a Brand Rep Search for Sequins and Sand this summer was born. Here's what's it all about!
What is the Sequins and Sand Brand Rep Search?
We are looking for 5 women of diverse age, shape and size to wear our swimwear, clothing, hats and bags this summer.
The Brand Rep project will run from September to November initially and we ask that those who are interested and selected, take photos of themselves enjoying their summer in our swimwear mostly, throwing clothing, hats and bags in shot as well. If successful, we will run another Brand Search for December-February (inclusive).
It's important that these photos are natural, fun, 'real' and relaxed. Everyday women going about their summers at the beach, by the pool, in the pool, out and about and on holiday too! And yes, full body swimsuit shots!
We recently did a customer survey and the feedback was overwhelming...women want to see women they can relate to. We are looking for those women!
What You'll Receive If Chosen:
1. We will help set you up for summer with a pack of goodies worth a minimum of $400 over the three month period, as chosen by Sequins and Sand. A 20% store discount code valid for 6 months for personal use only
2. Regular features on our social media pages – mainly facebook and instagram.
3. We may incorporate your images into other content we create for our website, video and social media channels too.
What We'll Ask You To Do?
Take photos of yourself enjoying your summer in our swimwear, throwing clothing, hats and bags in shot as well. But the main focus is the swimwear and we're after shots that really show them in action, including full body shots.
At least 1 photo every two weeks over that 3 month period, posted on your public Instagram and Facebook pages featuring your gifted Sequins and Sand goodies. You must have public accounts girls. The idea is to show the way to as many women as we can. Please don't enter if you're not happy with taking full length swimsuit photos of yourself.
How to Enter
The Brand Rep Search will run from the 23rd June - the 14th July 2017 on both Sequins and Sand Facebook and Instagram pages. We will post regularly about it whilst the search is open so look out for them! Here's generally how it will go.

3. Comment and tell us a little about you and your life and why you should be chosen as one of our Brand Rep's. Give us your pitch girls!
4. Have a public profile
5. Optional – share the post and opportunity on your feed to share the love with your friends and followers and tag us in that post @sequinsandsand
