Sun protective swimwear has never, ever, ever looked so good! SunSoaked is a Brisbane based swim and resort label lead by the lovely Kate Davis-Steer. This year, her range of luxury 'rashie meets one pieces' swimsuits (and other delightful pieces) expands to include sizes 10-20. It's the next step up for this Australian label as it expands and grows.
Here's what Kate has to say about her enterprise. It goes to the heart of what she does and more importantly, why.
"I want SunSoaked to lead the way in changing peoples' perception of what sun safe swimwear is and what it looks like.
Encouraging women to cover-up and protect themselves is potentially saving lives. Melanoma is largely preventable by sun safe habits including avoiding tanning and sunburn.
I want SunSoaked to be a business that not only focuses on commercial success but also gives something back to the community. I want SunSoaked to make a difference to the lives of women all around the world. Whether that be by providing sun protection so that they can enjoy time outdoors or by making women feel fabulous and chic in our swimwear to raising money for causes such as melanoma research."
And she lives by what she says. Brisbane based Kate genuinely cares. She is meticulous about every detail, with stylish sun safety, the strong foundation on which her range is built. Not just a cossie, her swimsuits are works of wearable art. The highest of quality, stunning exclusive prints and details that really set this label a part.
This year, Kate has expanded her size range in quite a few cuts up to a 20.
