Christmas 2020. It's here already and what a year it's been! Being an online swimwear and resortwear store, we are open for you to shop whenever you like! But, when the post isn't running, your orders can't be dispatched. We are also taking a couple of extra days off so that we can get our precious family time in too. Here are our Dispatching Days over the 20/21 Christmas - New Year period and the days we are not sending orders out. The Calendar off to the side shows it for you too.
Christmas Closure - NOT Dispatching Your Orders on These Days
We will be taking a break on the Public Holidays when there aren't any postal services AND an extra day so that we can get a break with our families.
- Christmas Day - Friday 25th December (Public Holiday)
- Boxing Day Public Holiday - Monday 28th December (Public Holiday)
- New Years Eve - Thursday the 31st December (a Sequins and Sand Holiday)
- New Years Day - Friday 1st January (Public Holiday)
Days we ARE Dispatching:
A few days in between we will be getting your orders out, in support of our Boxing Day Sale!
- Tuesday 29th December (to get your Boxing Day Sale orders out)
- Wednesday 30th December (to get your Boxing Day Sale orders out)
Business As Usual from Monday 4th January.
So if you're on a go slow back at work, or on holidays then, you can sit back, place your orders and we'll get right onto it for you.

Different levels of help are available depending on your needs. There's also a brilliant Size Calculator where you can enter your measurements in and on the screen, your size guides appear. The numbers are for Swimwear and the letters are for Clothing. It's not 100% fool proof but it is a great place to start. Then overlay that with our Shop By Shape tabs at the top right on The Change Room page. When most of our customers shop for swimwear they are looking for support and coverage for different parts of their body, so our help tags are designed with that in mind eg: Big Bust, Tummy Taming.
Boxing Day Sale:
Starts on the 26th December and runs through until the end of the Boxing Day Public Holiday - midnight Monday the 28th Dec. Bag brilliant Bather Bargains! Many are one-off's, some are items we have a little too much of. It's a chance for us to clear the racks and for you to grab high quality swimwear and clothing at ridiculously low prices. A WIN:WIN!
There are no returns on those heavily reduced items though girls and Free Returns don't apply either.
When we slash the prices like this, we are not making much money, if any at all. Because we retail, and don't make the swimwear and clothing our margins are much less than the labels who make and sell them. We do it to move the stock on. Most will be at cost or less. Please keep that in mind when you shop. When the sale starts you will find all our sale items on the CLEARANCE page - both Swimwear Clearance and Clothing Clearance sections.
Our Christmas Wish for You:
There is no doubt that this Covid year has brought many challenges to us all. For us here at Sequins and Sand, it's been a tough year in business, full of uncertainty, with little confidence. The season was cripplingly slow to begin with and then boom! Things moved at a rapid pace. We had to adapt. What Covid conditions did make us do, was re-evaluate and focus on what matters most. You our customers - how can we serve you better? What values underpin our business that we want to focus harder on and deliver to you in spades? Your Summer Confidence is what matters dearly to us, with a passion for your Cossie Confidence. That's our focus. It has been for years but. We introduced new ways to do it better and are continuing to roll out new initiatives that will go further to demonstrate and do this for you.
With that in mind we have put together a Cossie Confidence Christmas message. 10 Stories and well-wishes from our Cossie Confidence Crew girls, who are very passionate about helping you reclaim yours. Each of their stories are different. You might find that one is very similar to yours. That's our hope, that you relate to their story and can see the possibility and with that, you'll make those precious memories with family and friends. No holding back.
