Flouncy Bandeau One Piece in Montego Print

Anita McLachlan - 16th December 2023

Let me show you the fabulous new Flouncy One Piece in Montego print! When the Flouncy one piece hit the internet about 8 years ago it was an instant best seller. 100's flew out the door. Why? Because many women finally had found a swimsuit that didn't bring attention to their mid section, fitted their hips and bottom well AND it looked great on.

If you have a fuller tummy shape or are tummy conscious in your cossie then this swimsuit style is definitely one you should take a closer look at. When the Flouncy one piece hit the internet about 8 years ago it was an instant best seller. 100's flew out the door. Why? Because many women finally had found a swimsuit that didn't bring attention to their mid section, fitted their hips and bottom well AND it looked great on.

It's back and we're thrilled for you. Now in this gorgeous deep, vibrant print the Flouncy One Piece by Capriosca Swimwear could be THAT swimsuit to have to feeling good in a cossie this summer.

Watch Anita talk about its features and how it works with our body shape in the video below!

Features:

  • Elastic 'bandeau' (strapless) neckline - this is what helps to create those fabulous soft folds of fabric about the belly area
  • Straps can be attached - yes, it comes with a set of straps you can wear over shoulders, crossed over at the back or tied as a halter behind your neck
  • Shelf bra - with under bust elastic, for medium (medium to low) support - this is not a strong bust support style. Its softer design means less structure so if you're an E cup and up girl, this is not the one for you if you are wanting a supportive cossie. Perfect if you are a B-C cup (even an A). D-DD it's okay.
  • Fitted bottom - this clever design has the fuller flouncy top sewn into a more fitted bottom so you feel well supported about the hips and bottom without highlighting your tummy are.
  • Fully lined

Fabric:
Fabric: 82% Nylon 18% Spandex

Size & Fit:
Size: available in sizes 12-22 and we think best for a B-DD cup (perhaps an A) and if you're an E you will fit into the shelf bra but this style is not a super supportive one

Fit:

  • Inverted Triangle shape - your narrower hips (compared to your top width) will love how this fits. Wear your straps over your shoulders if you find the strapless style exaggerates your top width too much.
  • Diamonds you will love the extra room to move about your belly area - the strapless style will add visual width to your top (shoulders)
  • Roundies - your tummy area has more room to move in this style - great if you are tummy conscious

Not sure of your shape? Then head over to The Calculator. Our much loved (and appreciated) custom shape and size tool that will help you appreciate your gorgeous shape (and size) with ease.

Colour:
This print is rather deep - the colours are on the darker side, the black background 'darkens' the print too.
They are quite vibrant with a mix of warm, neutral and cooler tones it really is hard to say which way this print leans. The swimsuit model has a warmer skin tone.
The blue and purple colours dominate and the pink pops. Teal brings it back a bit.
Clear to slightly muted colours due to the nature of the swimsuit fabric - it's not a high sheen or gloss.

Happy summer ladies!
