I've been selling swim and resort wear, including rashies, for over 12 years now and in that time I've not seen a rash guard that ticks all the boxes like this one does. I'm super excited to introduce you to the new Magnolia Rash Vest from Genevieve.
That's the lovely Liz modelling it for you in the main photo above. Liz is an 18 with a DD bust and a rounder, fuller tummy shape. Her size is an 18 in this rashie too - but it goes up to a size 30! Woohoo!
Beyond the brilliant size options there's so much to this thoughtfully designed rashie. Let's take a closer look.
1. Maximum UV Sun Protection:
Formally Rated UPF50+ by ARPANSA so it's been certified and is like wearing sunscreen. It's the highest protection you can get. Find out what that means here. It's a video recording from one of my Lunchtime Lives. Head to 4:55mins where I talk about Sun Safe properties of rashies.
2. Swimming Pool Tough - Chlorine Resistant (CRES) Fabric:
Wear this rashie for longer without having to replace it like you would with regular swimsuit fabric rashies. It's made from fabric that is made with the harsher conditions of a chlorinated pool in mind. You still need to look after it by rinsing it out in cold water as soon as you can and drying it flat in the shade but it will work harder for you. HOWEVER...nothing will withstand the hot, heavily chlorinated conditions of a spa. And I won't warrant anything that is girls. Sorry. They are far too aggressive even on CRES fabric swimsuits and rashies. I can't begin to imagine what they do to your skin.
3. Built-In Bust Support:
There is a shelf bra with one inch wide strong under-bust elastic to give your busts support. That means you don't have to wear a top under if you don't want to. Of course, you're not going to get the same level of support that you would wearing a top under, but the option is there. AND if you struggle to get support, then having both is a bonus!
4. Bust Pockets with Easy Access for Prostheses!
Why am I so excited about this? Because so often the openings to get bust prostheses into pockets are inadequately small. These are not. They are generous so if you are an E or F cup, you should be able to get them in with ease. Yay! The bust pocket lining is super fine and soft so feels nice against your skin too if it's a bit sensitive.
5. Up to a Size 30!
Yes!! A gorgeous, classically stylish print that goes up to a size 30. Let's yell it out from the roof top and tell all your mates! It has broken my heart many a time over the years when women tell me they have been shopping at Lowes menswear to get their rashies. Bloody hell! Thanks Genevieve Swimwear.
